Come any time inside that window. No appointment needed.
Get directions- Government-issued photo ID
- A smartphone you can install our app on
- Banking details so we can pay you (a void cheque, or the email for e-transfer)
- Shoes you can walk a route in
That is it. No resume required, though you are welcome to bring one.
You can just turn up. Letting us know means we have a seat, a name tag and paperwork ready for you, so you are not waiting around.

The job
What you will actually be doing.
You walk residential routes
We assign you a route in a Calgary or Red Deer neighbourhood. You walk it on foot, house to house.
You hang door hangers
One hanger per home, on the handle, where the homeowner will actually see it.
You log photo proof in the app
The StreetDrop app tracks your route and takes photo proof of the work. It is how you get credited for the hours you put in.
$17.50 an hour, paid weekly
You are paid weekly for the hours you work. You are an independent contractor, not an employee.

Alberta minimum wage is $15.00 an hour. You are paid for the hours you work on your assigned routes. We go through routes and scheduling with you before your first one.
Straight talk about the work
This is a walking job. You are outdoors, on your feet, covering residential streets in whatever weather Calgary decides to hand you. It is physical work. People who like being outside and moving all day tend to do well at it. If you are looking for a desk, this is not it.
